Welcome to Bloom Movers LLC ("Bloom Movers," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at bloommovers.com and the moving services we provide. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or booking a move with Bloom Movers, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy. If you are booking on behalf of another person or business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that person or entity to these Terms.
2. Description of Services
Bloom Movers provides professional moving services in the greater Los Angeles area. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Local residential and apartment moving
- Office and commercial relocation
- Professional packing and unpacking services
- Labor-only services (loading, unloading, and rearranging)
- Furniture disassembly and assembly
Service availability may vary based on location, scheduling, and crew availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at our discretion.
3. Booking and Cancellation
Booking
You may book a move through our website or by contacting us directly. All bookings are subject to confirmation by Bloom Movers. A booking is considered confirmed once you receive a confirmation email or notification from us. By placing a booking, you agree to the quoted price and the terms outlined herein.
Cancellation Policy
- More than 24 hours before your scheduled move: You may cancel free of charge. A full refund will be issued to your original payment method.
- Within 24 hours of your scheduled move: A cancellation fee of 50% of the quoted price will apply. This covers crew scheduling, truck allocation, and other preparation costs.
- No-shows: If you fail to be present at the scheduled pickup location without prior notice, the full quoted price may be charged.

4. Pricing and Payment
- Transparent quotes: All quotes provided through our website are all-inclusive and reflect the total estimated cost of your move based on the information you provide. There are no hidden fees, fuel surcharges, or surprise add-ons.
- Hourly billing: If your move takes longer than the estimated time included in your quote, additional time will be billed at the hourly rate specified in your booking confirmation.
- Payment methods: We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- Price accuracy: Quotes are based on the information you provide. If actual move conditions differ materially from what was described (e.g., significantly more items, additional flights of stairs not disclosed), we reserve the right to adjust the price accordingly with your approval before proceeding.
5. Liability and Insurance
Basic Coverage
All moves include basic valuation coverage at no additional cost, as required by California law. Under basic coverage, liability is limited to $0.60 per pound per article. This means that in the event of damage or loss, compensation is calculated based on the weight of the item, not its market value.
Full-Value Protection
For greater peace of mind, we offer full-value protection, which you can select during the booking process. Under full-value protection, if any item is lost, destroyed, or damaged while in our care, we will, at our option, repair the item, replace it with a similar item, or provide a cash settlement based on the current market value of the item. Terms, conditions, and deductibles apply as specified during booking.
Exclusions
We are not liable for damage to items that are improperly packed by the customer, items of extraordinary value not declared prior to the move (such as jewelry, artwork, or collectibles), or damage caused by events beyond our reasonable control (such as natural disasters, severe weather, or acts of third parties).
6. Your Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when requesting a quote and booking a move, including accurate addresses, inventory, and any access restrictions (stairs, elevators, parking, etc.)
- Ensure that a responsible adult (18 years or older) is present at both the pickup and delivery locations during the move
- Secure or remove any items of extraordinary value, hazardous materials, or prohibited items before the move
- Ensure adequate parking and access for our moving trucks at both locations
- Inform us of any building rules, HOA requirements, or reservation needs (e.g., elevator reservations) in advance
- Inspect your belongings at delivery and note any damage on the delivery receipt
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use our website or services to:
- Transport illegal, hazardous, flammable, or explosive materials
- Provide false, misleading, or incomplete information to obtain a lower quote
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our website, servers, or systems
- Engage in any activity that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful to Bloom Movers, its employees, or other customers
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from our website without our written permission
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Bloom Movers LLC, its owners, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific move giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability, whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bloom Movers LLC, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your use of our services, or any inaccurate information you provide to us.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or our services, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting us at info@bloommovers.com. We will work in good faith to resolve your concern within 30 days. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue binding arbitration administered by JAMS in Los Angeles, California, under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding. You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
